nah, you hit the nail on the head there. if you're just going to run your usual slots and get the same wins anyway, then the race is just a bonus layer. but i've seen some players push themselves way harder just to keep their spot on the board, spending more than they budgeted just because of the leaderboard vibe. the ones that used to pay, they felt less like a contest and more like just slots, ah well, we grind on.I remember the old slots first-hand.
