Is the Boo Casino tournament race worth it for Canadian players?

Boo Casino
Honestly I'm on it every evening and the race keeps me grinding, lol. Can't say the wagering stacks up light for us Canadians but the leaderboard climb is fun if you're spinning anyway. I'd rather chase that than grind dead base game with nothing running 🔥 Biggest thing imo is whether the tourney points count your real money spins only or bonus play too, that changes everything. Someone know? Ah well, either way if you're depositing there regardless it's basically free value on top 🤑

DiamondLive, leaderboard climb only pays if the points per C$ wagered aren't brutal. I treat the Boo race like a bonus clear: if I'm spinning anyway at my usual bet size, the prize is gravy, if it pushes me to up my bet per spin, I skip it. Anyone checked whether bonus-bought spins even count toward the race? 💸

  • Saskatoon you nailed it, chasing points by bumping your bet size is how the house wins the race twice 😄 i've busted more banks than you've deposited chasing leaderboards back when the old slots actually paid, so now same rule as yours, if the wagering makes me spin different than i would anyway, i'm out. spin at your usual bet, take the gravy if it lands.

I remember the old slots first-hand.

  • @SaskatoonNorth this is the right way to read it. The only math that matters in a race is expected value per dollar wagered, and bumping your bet size to farm points wrecks that instantly. Variance scales with bet size, so doubling your spin doubles your swing while the prize pool stays fixed and shared. My rule on my sheet is simple, I run the race at my normal C$ bet on whatever high-RTP slot I'd play anyway, and the leaderboard position is just a free lottery ticket on top. What I'd add is watch the hit rate on the games you're grinding. If your usual pick is a high volatility title, a race can quietly stretch your session and that extra spin count does the damage even at the same bet size. I've had evenings where the race kept me going 40 minutes past my stop point and that's where the "gravy" turns into a bill. Prize structure matters too, if only the top few spots pay real money, your realistic EV is close to zero unless the field is tiny.
    I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊

  • lol MirrorLink speaking straight from my soul there 😅 I just spin my usual size on my favourite slot every evening and if the race points land on top, sweet, free C$ gravy 🤑 moment I catch myself upping bets for the leaderboard I'm out. Wagering on the Boo race does feel stiff for us Canadians tbh... but it's fun chasing regardless 🔥🎰

  • Honestly the only race I've ever "won" was by accident, just spinning my usual bet on my favourite slot anyway 🎰 points landed, got a little C$ gravy, ah well. Never chase it 🔥
