Learned that the hard way once, grinded through a freebie on some off-brand slot and it counted for nothing. Check which providers are listed before you burn the spins. As for hiding it in the account menu, honestly that smells deliberate to me. A freebie sitting front and centre gets claimed by every tire-kicker who never deposits.
