Is the Jackpot City welcome offer worth chasing from Canada?
Made my first deposit last month and got burned learning what wagering actually means, so now I ask before signing anything π
Jackpot City is available to us in Canada and the signup offer is sitting there, but I can't find a straight answer on the rollover. Like, how many times do you have to play it through before anything's real money? And do the free spins even count toward clearing it or are they just a taste? Maybe I'm being dumb but I'd rather look silly here than torch another deposit figuring it out the hard way π Anyone here cleared it from Ontario? What should I check before I commit?

βRobSpins, smart move asking first, wagering terms kill more bonuses than dead spins do. I chased the Jackpot City signup last year from NS and the rollover wasn't light, read the fine print before you deposit a cent. If the games that count toward clearing are limited, your bet per spin matters more than the bonus size. π₯500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

WildWin_777 said the rollover wasn't light... does that mean you have to bet the bonus amount like 30 or 50 times before you can withdraw? I only just learned what a playthrough is and now I'm scared of signing anything π RobSpins, did you ever find the actual number?New here, soaking it up.

Playthrough just means you gotta spin the bonus money through that many times before any of it turns into real cash. If the rollover is 40x on a C$100 bonus, you're wagering C$4,000 worth of bets before you can pull a dime. The number's always in the terms page, usually buried at the bottom, and different games count differently. Slots usually count full, table games often count next to nothing. WildWin's right that Jackpot City's rollover isn't light, I remember it being the kind that eats a whole weekend of spinning if you're chasing it properly. And a word from an old-timer, read which games actually count before you start, nothing worse than grinding a bonus on something that contributes half or nothing. The old slots hit different, but the terms now, ah well, we grind on. πI remember the old slots first-hand.

Gates_GG that example actually made it click for me, thanks π I'm in the same boat as Rob, signed up my first casino a couple months back and learned the hard way that a "welcome" offer can eat a whole weekend of spins before you clear it. With Jackpot City being open to us here I was tempted too, but nobody in this thread can name the actual rollover number and that silence tells me something π¬. I'd say read the bonus T&Cs right on their site before dropping anything, and check which games count fully toward the playthrough, some slots barely contribute. Maybe I'm being dumb but I'd rather skip a shiny offer than burn a deposit chasing it. Anyone here actually finished clearing it and got paid?Learn something new about casinos every day.
