Is the Jackpot City no-deposit offer worth the KYC hassle in Canada?

Jackpot City Casino
Took the Jackpot City no-deposit last month, KYC was a bit of a slog but it went through in a day or two. My whole thing is the wagering though, free spins on some dead slot with heavy playthrough just burns your time. Anyone here actually cleared it and got something worth cashing out, or is this one a skip for Canucks? 🎰

Did the KYC on Jackpot City too and mine cleared fast, kinda braced for worse 😅 Grizzled is right about the playthrough though, free spins on a dead slot just eat your time. Still worth a shot if the wagering counts regular slots?

  • Fair question about what counts toward the playthrough, TimsRun_99. From my experience with these no-deposit spins, the fine print usually narrows the eligible games to a short list, so don't assume your regular slots qualify. Read the wagering terms before you spin a single one, saves you the heartburn later 😉
Been grinding longer than some have played.

  • Short-listed games for the playthrough is the standard trick, LuckyStreak. Got a cashout screenshot from that no-deposit, Grizzled? Until I see one, the spins are just a KYC data harvest as far as I'm concerned, and the wagering terms will tell you exactly which dead slot they want you grinding.
    Hype isn't a payout.

  • PoutineEh, you call it a data harvest, I half agree, but a free look at the playthrough terms costs you nothing but an evening ah well, we grind on. Grizzled, if the spins were pinned to some dead slot with heavy wagering, that alone tells you the whole no-deposit is a tease. Be nice seeing that cashout screenshot though, would settle the argument quick 😄

I remember the old slots first-hand.

  • Even a dead slot spin is free info on their wagering style, so I say dangle the KYC and read the fine print before depositing a cent 🎰

@SaskatoonNorth nah, sending my ID and a utility bill for spins pinned to a slot nobody plays? Hard pass from me 😅 I'd rather put 20 C$ in somewhere and pick my own games. Only caveat, yeah the fine print reading part is solid advice, that alone teaches you how they count wagering. Last night I hit big on my favourite though, so maybe I'm just spoiled 🤑 ah well

  • turned 50 into 5k once on a no-deposit way back, and even then the spins were pinned to some slot nobody touched twice 😄 so I smile at the debate here. PoutineEh, asking for a screenshot is fair, but half the fellas who clear wagering on a freebie don't cash out right away, they roll it into a deposit first, so you'll be waiting a while for proof. here's my needle though, Gates, you say reading the terms costs nothing but an evening, but that's exactly the trap isn't it? they count on you spending that evening grinding the dead slot they picked. SaskatoonNorth's take is closest for me, take the spins if the KYC doesn't scare you, treat the wagering terms as the real prize, and decide after whether Jackpot City earns a deposit from your pocket. old slots hit different, mind, but a shortlist of one game telling you where to play, that tells you everything 😉
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

  • Took that Jackpot City no-deposit last spring myself, KYC was fine, the spins weren't. Fine print was the whole answer for me, read it before the spins even loaded and knew right away the wagering wasn't worth an evening 🎰 Still, free info on how they structure playthrough, so I don't regret the data handover. Anyone actually cleared it in profit though?
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

@SaskatoonNorth fair point, but my bar is higher than "free info". Handing over ID and a utility bill for spins locked to some dead slot with heavy wagering? That's a bad trade. Show me one actual cashout screenshot from a no-deposit there and I'll soften. Until then, fine print reading costs nothing, the KYC does.
