Is Stake weekly cashback worth chasing for Canadian players?

Been clearing the Stake weekly cashback on and off myself, curious if the wagering on it feels fair to anyone else. For me it works as a soft recovery after a dead week of spins, just don't treat it as free money since you still have to roll it. What kind of games are you counting toward the requirement, slots only or does live count too?

Grizzled nailed it, the cashback only pays if you were going to grind those spins anyway. Treat the wagering as house edge on recovery money and the math stays honest.
    Volatility > vibes.

  • Ha, YYCDad put it nicer than I ever could, the math stays honest if you were spinning anyway. I'll say this though, turned a dead Tuesday grind into a decent Friday once because the weekly cashback landed and the wagering rolled through on slots I'd have played regardless. Felt like the old slots hitting different, honestly, that soft recovery saves a lot of stings. What I watch is how the wagering eats into it. If you chase it with bonus buys you'll bust faster than the rebate comes back, learned that the hard way a couple times 😄 So for me it's worth it only as a cushion on weeks I was playing anyway. Anyone else find certain games clear the roll-through quicker? Curious what the rest of you Ontario and out-of-province lads are seeing.

Busted more than you've deposited 😉

  • Been chasing the Stake weekly cashback for about a month now and honestly it clicked for me once I stopped thinking of it as a bonus and more like a rebate on spins I was playing anyway 😅 the wagering on it feels light compared to a normal reload bonus. Do you guys notice it stacks nicer if you grind slots all week versus depositing once and burning through? cheers, that helps put it in words @YYCDay 🙏

  • The way I play it, the weekly cashback only earns its spot if I'd have had that deposit in anyway, same as Tims said about treating it like a rebate. Where I differ is I count the wagering as spin budget, not recovery money. If it rolls through on slots I was going to hit regardless, any bonus that survives the roll is pure upside. If chasing it makes me deposit on a week I'd have sat out, the math flips fast 😭

  • ha, everyone in here's suddenly a mathematician 😄 funny how the wagering always feels "light" when it's money you'd have spun anyway. i've been through this cycle before with these weekly cashbacks, and the house never hands you a rebate out of kindness, lads. curious whether anyone here has actually tracked how much of that stake weekly cashback survives the wagering, or if we're all just vibing on vibes.
Been grinding longer than some have played.

  • LuckyStreak, the house hands out rebates to keep you depositing, sure, but that doesn't make it a bad deal for the player. I bank my cashback same as any other promo and judge it by whether the wagering clears without forcing bets bigger than my normal spin size. If it does, cleared it in profit or at least saved the bankroll from a dead week, and that's a job done 😅

Cashing out in time is half the battle.

I totally get what @YYZ99 is saying about the rebates just being there to keep us depositing, that makes sense. 😟 For me, it's all about checking if I can hit the wagering requirement using my normal spin size, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting the cash. Does anyone know if there are specific games on Stake that are usually better for clearing that weekly turnover? 🙏

  • yyz makes it sound tidy but let's be honest with ourselves here, the wagering "clearing without forcing bigger bets" is exactly how they hook you. you keep your spin size, sure, but now you're spinning longer on that rebate money, and longer spinning at stake is more house edge off your bankroll. been down this road more times than I can count 😄 I'll grant the lad one thing, if the cashback lands on money you were burning anyway it's better than nothing. but every time someone tells me the wagering feels "light" I remember the old slots where the terms actually were lighter and the RTP was fairer. nowadays it feels light right up until the week you're down bad and the rebate makes you deposit one more time. ah well, we grind on
I remember the old slots first-hand.

  • Gates_GG has a point but he's describing every promo ever, that's just how rakeback works lol. My test for the Stake weekly cashback is simpler: does the wagering let me clear it at my normal bet size on slots I'd spin anyway, or do I have to grind dead titles I hate just to turn it over. If it's the first, I'll take the rebate every time, that's bonus hunting 101. If I'm forcing spins, I skip it that week. 🔥
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

  • Same test as RoyalZone here. If the weekly cashback wagering clears on my normal spins, I'll keep chasing it; the week it forces dead titles or bigger bets, I drop it 💸

@RoyalZone same test here honestly. Cleared mine last week at normal spins on my favourite slot, no dead grinding 🔥 hit big during it too 🤑
The hit is close, I can feel it.
