I finally did the math on my Extreme Casino rollover
Counting only the games that actually contribute before you even deposited is the discipline most of us learn a year too late, so respect for that. On a small spin sample nobody notices, but over a full rollover the weightings make or break the EV, would you mind sharing how you handled slots with different contribution rates in your sheet? I keep one per slot myself and would happily sanity-check your math. 📊

✓Saskatoon's got it right, the weightings sneak up on you worse than a fog rolling off the harbour 😄 took me way too many busted banks before i learned to check the contribution table first, and half the time the flashy slot you want is down at 10% or dead altogether. good on you for running the numbers before the deposit instead of after, that's the part most of us get backwards for years.Been grinding longer than some have played.

Yeah exactly what you said Rob, you got it 🎰 If it counts at 10%, then every C$1 you spin only takes 10 cents off what's left to wager. So if the rollover is C$1,000 and the slot is at 10%, you'd need C$10,000 spun on that game to clear it. Brutal math ah well 😅 That's why the guy who started this thread checking the contribution table BEFORE depositing is the smart play. Me, I just pick my favourite slot and grind it every evening. Luckily the one I ride counts full, so the rollover melts way faster than folks think 🔥💰 Stick to the 100% contribution games while you're clearing the bonus, then go back to the flashy stuff after. That C$10,000 spun example just made the whole thing click for me 🤯 I deposited at Extreme last month and only checked contributions after, and my favourite flashy slot was basically dead for wagering, felt like running on a treadmill. @WildWin_777 that's the way to do it, reading the contribution table first is half the battle won. Turned a small deposit into a decent cashout once doing exactly that. Ground the rollover out on the boring high-contribution stuff and walked away up. Nothing glamorous about it, but a cleared bonus in profit beats a flashy session any day 😄 Mind you, I did read WildWinChaser1987's post below and fair play to him, that C$1,400 off the flashy slot is the kind of hit that keeps people coming back. But for every one of those stories there's twenty of us who donated the whole bonus chasing the same dream. The old slots hit different back when the RTP was fairer — nowadays the flashy ones are built to eat your rollover, not pay it. Good to see this thread landing on the right note. One wrinkle for Rob's example: even at 10% contribution your EV stays tied to the game's RTP, so grinding a dead-weight flashy slot for rollover is double pain. My sheet has a column for contribution and one for hit rate, and the games that clear wagering fastest almost never overlap with the ones I enjoy. Annoying, but that's the volatility doing its job.Volatility > vibes.

Anyone who grinds it on a flashy low-contribution slot is basically donating extra vig. Sure, WildWinChaser1987 got paid once doing it the dumb way, but I've watched way more bankrolls die that route than survive 🎰💸
