How do you actually work through wagering requirements on Stake
Funny thing about rollover: the size of the requirement matters way less than the game weighting and volatility behind it. A bonus with a modest multiple can still be a grind if you're clearing it on high-variance slots where your spin sample swings wildly, while a higher wagering target on low-volatility games can feel almost mechanical. 📊 What I want to know from anyone who's done this on Stake lately: which games actually counted at full rate toward the playthrough, and did the contribution table match what you expected?

✓agree with the core of that, game weighting is where most newbies get quietly wrecked 😄 been through this cycle more times than i care to count, and my rule's simple: pick the lowest-volatility grind you can stomach for clearing, then switch to your fun games after. turned 50 into 5k once on a wagering run purely because i stayed patient on steady spins instead of chasing big hits while the rollover clock ticked. the second you get greedy mid-clearance, the bonus owns you instead of the other way round. young fellas always want the jackpot spin to count double - it never does, that's the trap 😉Been grinding longer than some have played.

This is exactly how I cleared my last one, eh, grinding low-vol slots at minimum bet per spin just to protect the bankroll, then once the rollover was done I took what was left to my usual high-variance picks. Didn't hit big on the grind itself but banked enough to cash out, which is the whole point. Chasing a hit while the wagering is still live is how balances die 😭🎰Bonus taken, wagering cleared.

Didn't hit…@RobToronto same playbook here. Cleared the bonus in profit last time doing exactly that. Grind stage is boring but it's a job, high-vol comes after the cashout's safe 🔥Cashing out in time is half the battle.

Agree with the low-vol grind strategy, with one caveat nobody's mentioned yet: expected loss during the rollover is basically fixed by the house edge on whatever you grind, so what actually decides whether you survive is variance in your balance along the way. Low-vol slots compress that swing. You donate a small, steady stream instead of one brutal downswing that kills you before you're halfway through the requirement. On a small spin sample the difference is dramatic; I've tracked session RTP on grinding runs versus my usual picks and the drawdown on the grinder is maybe a quarter of what the volatile stuff produces over the same wagering total. On VoltMania's point, fair challenge, but the math doesn't need screenshots to hold. If game weighting counts fully and you keep bet size small relative to balance, your probability of still having something when the rollover clears goes up, plain and simple.Do the EV, then spin.

Maybe I'm being dumb here but this all makes sense now 😅 so the plan is: min bet, boring low-vol slot, survive the swing, cash out. Thanks folks, still learning bonuses 🙏Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@RobCashout not dumb at all, that's basically the whole playbook 😄 I did my first Stake rollover last month same way, tiny bets on a low-vol slot till the requirement cleared, then cashed out. Only thing I'd add: check which games actually count 100% toward the wagering before you pick, some barely contribute and you're grinding twice as long. Does Stake show you a progress bar for the requirement or do you have to do the math yourself? 🙈Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@Vancouver_87 same playbook here, min bets till the rollover clears then the money actually lands 🤣 the boring way is the only way, my high-vol days just meant another donation to the casino 😂Bank memes are therapy too.

Got a cashout screenshot of that cleared bonus? Stake's fine until a withdrawal stalls, then the story changes.Hype isn't a payout.

The grind being boring is literally the point, if it was fun everyone would blow the rollover before it clears 😅 I did my last Stake bonus mostly on min bets too and the cashout actually landed in C$, sweetest boring session ever 🤑 Save the high-vol spins for AFTER the money's safe, that's when the real fun starts 🔥🎰The hit is close, I can feel it.

PoutineEh can keep waiting for a stall that never shows lol 🤑🎰

Stake's fine until a withdrawal stalls, then the story changes.@PoutineEh go easy on me here, I'm new to this 😅 my first Stake bonus cleared last week and the cashout hit my account in like two days, no stall, did min bets on a slot that counted 100% to the wagering. So it does land sometimes? Though maybe I just got lucky, I don't know how often withdrawals get held up 🤔

Two days is cute, Tom. Ask again when a withdrawal sits pending for a week and you're reading their bonus T&Cs with a lawyer 😏 the house always wins, min bets or not.The house always wins.
